Brief

Deltabit were approached by Bracher Rawlins, as Deltabit had already worked with them on a variety of projects. As a result of our pre-determined knowledge and expertise, Deltabit were briefed to provide consultancy services to maintain and support their IT infrastructure for their 10 servers and 30 desktops.

Challenge

Bracher Rawlins had a very diverse network of applications which needed support and required additional technical skills to assist them going forward. Bracher Rawlins had a limited amount of internal IT resources so were very much looking to Deltabit to lead the way in providing advice and expertise to maintain all environments of their network.

The solution

Due to the diverse nature of the network applications at Bracher Rawlins, it was necessary to ensure that all our engineers were fully trained to support the many different law based applications.

Deltabit compiled a tailor made, flexible support package to ensure that all Bracher Rawlins’ ongoing IT requirements were met, which incorporated both remote secure on and off site and telephone assistance. The remote off site capability incorporated into the contract provided a secure remote desktop control application which ensured there was access to the system as soon as a request for assistance was logged.

In the event that a solution to any technical problem could not be solved remotely, Bracher Rawlins’ SLA included additional cover for an engineer to be present on site within 4 hours. This reassurance provided peace of mind that in the event of any unforeseen technical occurrence Deltabit would be able to take care of the situation.

As part of Bracher Rawlins’ support solution, an additional element was incorporated to provide ongoing technical assistance via telephone and to respond to any initial call requesting help within a specified time frame. Deltabit have fulfilled this agreed response time on an average of 99.5%.

It is crucial that Bracher Rawlins’ day to day business operations, which are a fundamental requirement of fulfilling their client’s expectations, are not jeopardised through a lack of IT technical support. Deltabit, through their strong technical knowledge and expertise, coupled with their understanding of Bracher Rawlins’ business requirements has meant that after 15 years Deltabit continues to have an ongoing relationship with them.
